 Mary Margaret Jones offers private harp instruction in Baltimore, MD. 

Beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels are offered. All ages are welcome. 

Although prior musical experience is not necessary, the ability to read music facilitates the learning process. Piano background of any amount is also helpful but not required.

About the instructor: 

Mary Margaret Jones holds a M.M. in Harp Performance from the Peabody Conservatory of The Johns Hopkins University and a B.M. in Harp Performance from the University of Houston. She has prior experience teaching music in the Anne Arundel County Public Schools and is current harp instructor at the Suzuki Music School of Maryland.  

Mary Margaret Jones has been a performing concert harpist for over a decade. She began her musical studies on the harp at the age of ten. For 6 summers she attended the Salzedo Harp Colony in Camden, Maine under the tutelage of renowned harpist Alice Chalifoux, retired Cleveland Symphony harpist.    

Mrs. Jones has performed in Alice Tully Hall in New York City and attended such summer festivals as the Pierre Monteux School for Conductors and Musicians. Her orchestral experience includes the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra, Manassas Ballet, Plano Symphony and San Angelo Symphony.
